About the project
Samling (Danish: gathering, collection, assembly) is a proposal for a new design college at Texas Tech, bringing together Architecture, Landscape Architecture and Horticulture.
Emerging roofs, multi-functional gathering spaces and planting organise the building. The sloped roofs carry rainwater to collection tanks that irrigate the gardens, so the building's form and its ecology work together.
